I grew up as a missionary kid in Kijabe, Kenya.  From there I went on to college to study English.

After my English degree, I pursued Education at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana.
I started teaching fifth grade and have made my way through elementary, middle, and high school level education teaching various subjects  in the general setting (math, science, health, social studies, reading, language arts).

My current and most prevalent teaching role has been in Literature and English Composition at various levels.
My ultimate goal is to work in high levels of educational instruction and leadership where I can use my talents and passions to affect positive change for students, teachers, and community members within the public school setting.

I enjoy developing curriculum and being creative in instruction.  I also enjoy logistics, planning, and technology integration. I have a fervent love of words and humanity and all the idiosyncrasies within.
